Utica’s Riggiefest on April 26

Utica, NY, is famous for its sumptuous Italian cuisine. Every year, we celebrate the Utica Riggiefest. This year it’s April 26, although some festival events begin Friday evening. It’s held at the Utica Auditorium. The food is incredible. Read more about it here and here.

I was digging through my digital photos and found this one of my youngest, taken only a few years ago. How they do grow! He’s wearing his “cool cat” glasses. My kids have always loved dressing up. It helps that they are hams and love the camera, too.

The Erie Canal Town Museum is in this tiny little house. You’d never know the vast treasures filling the rooms. This was a delightful visit, and the museum curator made it all the more wonderful.
