A Message for Mr. T

Mr. T was our gracious tour guide when we visited the FX Matt Brewery in Utica, NY. We got to chat a little bit about travel, and he asked me if I knew of any good attractions in Dallas, TX, where he would soon be vacationing. At the moment, I drew a blank (more like a stunned stupor, I suppose), and all I could think of was a big aquarium I’d heard was there. I promised him I’d write something up for him on my travel blog.

So, Mr. T, I’ve checked my resources.

*Ahem*

What Poor College Students Can Do While Visiting Dallas, TX

1. Here’s that very cool aquarium I mentioned: The Dallas World Aquarium

2. The Sixth Floor Museum, a place dedicated to the events surrounding the assassination of JFK.

3. The Dallas Zoo looks cool. If you are really into zoos, there’s also the Fort Worth Zoo.

4. ComedySportz which has improvisational comedy shows. Medieval Times is a dinner theatre that looks terrific.

5. There’s the Holocaust Museum.

6. The Museum of Biblical Art is open. So is The Dallas Museum of Art. So is the Crow Collection of Asian Art.

7. Another museum, The Flight Museum, looks fun.

8. There’s the Museum of Nature and Science. I wish I could go!

9. The Urban Market is a huge grocery and etc shopping complex.

Nothing here that sounds good? You can also find more things at Guidelive.com for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. TripAdvisor is a good reference. Also, I found a great site called 50 Free Things To Do in Dallas, TX.

Hope this helps. Send me a postcard, huh? mrsmecomber (at) gmail (dot) com. Have fun!
