Hey here’s a terrific idea if you are part of a group looking to raise some funds: sell car magnets! Car magnets are very popular items today. I have a few on my white minivan. I’ve actually been considering having some car magnets printed up with my “New York Traveler” logo on them. It would be cool to promote this blog with car magnets!
Fundraising by selling car magnets is, in my opinion, better than chocolate candy bars (better on the waistline) and better than flowers (that die too quickly). Companies like ARC Marketing can design a custom car magnet for your church, sports team, school, or any group. Sell the magnets to supporters and make a profit. The car magnets are weather-proof and fade-resistant. They have a telephone number if you’d like more information, at 760-743-6340, or check out their website here.
I think this would be a fantastic way for museums, small-business tourist shops, and gift shops to make money. We Mecombers always visit the gift shops wherever we travel, and I don’t ever remember seeing car magnets for sale. I think they should– I’d definitely get one! Even if I didn’t put it on my car, I’d put it on my refrigerator or put it in my safe-keeping memory box. Car magnets would make great souvenirs.
