Marinus Willett Visitor Center, Rome, NY

Marinus Willett Visitor Center, Rome, NY

This center is a magnificent addition to the wonderful Fort Stanwix, one of our favorite places to visit. The center has a mini-museum with artifacts, an interactive history section, and a terrific theatre that shows movies about the history of the Fort and the Revolutionary War. The movies are outstanding– filmed locally and starring park employees. There’s also the best gift shop we’ve ever enjoyed!
