Cats and Cars, North and South

Today my Entrecard is running on my favorite blog, Daisy the Curly Cat. If you have never visited Daisy and her Mommie, you should. You cannot let this moment of Internet pop culture history pass you by. The kids and I are nuts about Daisy! For a cat, she runs a terrific blog. Today’s story is about her Jumping Bean pet, which, as Daisy elegantly puts it,
I have been thinking about my Jumping Bean pets, and I must be honest about them. They are more fun than my Sea Monkeys, but I do not think they are ideal pets. I will explain why. I hope this does not hurt my Beans’ feelings.
The blog is pure fun, and it’s no surprise it’s wildly popular. It was even mentioned on CNN recently. And I love Daisy! I’m a cat person, and I think a Devon Rex kitty just may be in my future…
Another interesting thing is that Daisy is a Florida cat. So it’s wonderful to get to know about Florida, as Daisy is pretty descriptive of her part of the state (lizards, hurricanes, alligators, and the wetlands).
Daisy is inspiring my kids to perhaps start a cat blog, too. We have several pets (a cockatiel, a Beagle, and two tabby cats). One of our cats, Fuzzy, is zany. His antics are perfect fodder for a blog. We’ll see! In the meantime, give Daisy a visit. She’s a little selfish with the catnip but doesn’t skimp on fun!
Here are a few pictures of our Fuzzy.

Wow! Thanks ever so much for writing such nice things about my blog. I feel happy and proud inside. I can tell Fuzzy would enjoy having his very own blog, too.
And now, I must race all around the house and act crazy. Bye-bye!

Wow Daisy. You type quite well for a cat!
Did your Mommy teach you?
If Fuzzy writes his own blog, he is either going to have to dictate to me, or I am going to have to teach HIM to type! Nothin’ personal, but … he gets his claws caught on EVERYTHING…
I think he’ll just have to dictate!
Happy blogging! And keep your claws clipped!
P.S. You have a terrific blog. I love cats, and I think that you are very cute and funny.
I am sure Fuzzy will enjoy reading your blog, too.

I love the last image! A white fluffy belly staring up with a set of eyes attached!

Historian– lol! You sound like a cat expert now!
Hey Matthew! Isn’t that the funniest thing? Fuzzy was in the basket all snuggled up, then he stretched and I heard the basket fall over. Everything spilled out, including cat, but he just kept on snoozing away.

That has to be one of the cutest cat sleeping positions I’ve ever seen (apart from my late moggy Mall of course)!

I remember when fuzzy would get scared like that! His tail would puff up, he would hump his back, and then hop sideways!!!ROFL!!!!He is a WEIRD cat!
Mrs. Mecomber on Mon, 31st Mar 2008 10:41 am
Oh yeah, I forgot how he used to hop sideways!! LOL! It’s too bad we didn’t have a video camera back then. His hopping would have been fun to share with everyone.
