Down By the Marina

I grew up by the shores of Oneida Lake, the largest inland New York lake, and the center point of the old Erie Canal and the newer New York State Barge Canal. How I loved playing by the canal and watching the boats go down the canal! It was especially exciting to go to the marina and watch the boats load and unload their cargo with the boat lift.
