Estimating Costs for Your Trip

I mentioned this at my other blog, but I am so impressed with this site that I want to be sure my readers here have the chance to see it. It is perhaps the best cost-estimate program I have seen. This is a website, it’s free to use. It’s called .
This site has a Google map and a fill-out form. You enter your destination, your zip code, and a general estimate of how many miles per gallon your vehicle gets. This determines the cost of gasoline for your area, how far you will travel, and how much it will cost in gas to get there (and back, if you choose the “round trip” option. The Google map displayes the quickest route.
I love his site! I’ve been playing with it all day! Of course, mileage may vary according to your car and if there are unexpected detours or road construction. But still, any estimate is better than no estimate. I think it’s a great traveling tool. Bookmark this one.
