Ever since Adams christened his home "Montezillo" in the letter you quoted above, he addressed his letters from "Montezillo!" So, whenever you go through the volumes of his letters, you come across the heading: "To Thomas Jefferson. Montezillo, 12 OCtober 1818" Man, that guy was funny.
