Well, we haven’t been out to as many places as we’d hoped this year. The year is not over yet of course! We have a few appointments this month and we do try to tie in a trip somewhere with those. But overall, a lot of our hopes and plans fizzled out this summer. It was a weird summer. The big killer is high gas prices.

So I’m going through things here at home. I checked my Flickr account, and I realized I have almost 1,300 photos there! Holy cow! I have been going back over them, adding watermarks and reorganizing them, in hopes of creating some kind of digital scrapbook or photo scrapbook or something. I know almost nothing about the art. But I did find a terrific website– you crafters out there will love this one: MyLifetime.com. They have a huge, huge assortment of craft ideas in their Home & Crafts section. I used to be sooo into crafts, up until I bought the house and suddenly home improvements ate up my time.
I would LOVE to get back into it. I still have some crocheted blankets to finish and my youngest son’s birth name plaque (I cross-stitched a name plaque for all my kids) is still undone. I saw this pillow idea; aren’t they beautiful?

I’m going to send my young son to the site- he loves crafts and is always in need of craft ideas. Plus, we have a whole closet stuffed with craft materials that need to be used up! This looks like a great site. It has more than just craft ideas; it’s like an everything-about-everything site– health, cooking, style, entertainmment, etc. Very well done. The perfect place to go when you’re home on a rainy day. :)
