MagNext for Quiet Days at Home

Ice, ice, ice. What wacky Upstate New York weather we’ve had this winter. It’s been unseaonably warm (for us), with lots of precipitation. So that means ICE. And that means NO TRAVEL and no school! I’ve had quite the time finding educational things for the kids to do during their free time. The boys are always wanting to play computer games, but I am very strict when it comes to using the Internet.
There’s one place I trust to be a safe (and very fun) environment for the boys: MagNext at the MegaBrands.com website. My kids LOVE this place. The MagNext Virtual site is a game site, based on the popular MagNext toys that we love. I love MegaBrands toys– we’ve had them ever since my 19 year-old was a baby– and their site is built especially for kids (and game-loving parents!).
The boys like the rollercoaster segment best at the MagNext Virtual site. It’s really amazing, the graphics and the technology behind it all! Registering for the game is free (and safe, as I have the boys use my own email for the registration). The games are very cool! I like them because they are a “virtual” version of the magnetic-construction toys (we love sciency-type stuff like this). And the boys like it because it’s a game based around their toys. Neo Shifter is another very popular game with the kids– just go to MegaBrands.com, Click on the “Kids Zone” tab at the top, and you’ll see all the games they can play. I er, uh, the kids absolutely love the King Arthur game, too, and recommend it!
So if you’ve got cabin fever and have no where to go, send the kids to the MagNext games at MegaBrands.com. There are a tons of other games to be found at MegaBrands.com. The site is excellent for finding toys, playing games, learning about Mega Brands toys and news, and more. And it’s a kid-safe site with kid-safe stuff to do.
