I have a very fond appreciation for art, particularly fine art. I was educated in the fine arts, and I emphasize the genre in our homeschool and in our “field trips” as we travel.
The kids are very comfortable in museums and understand the importance of art not only as a means of entertainment but also as a reflection of culture, history, and philosophy. I love studying ancient civilizations. If it wasn’t for careful art storage and protection, much of what we know today about the people of the past would be non-existent. We’ve seen some outstanding museum and personal collections; some has been well-preserved and protected, but some, unfortunately, has not.
If you are a collector, for business or pleasure, please choose your art storage and display company carefully! I suggest you take a peek at what Mind’s Eye Art Storage has to offer. The website alone is a treat for art lovers (I absolutely LOVE the template design and the interactive menus!). Mind’s Eye has a keen eye for quality protection, transportation, and vaulting. Previous clients have included Talbots, Reebok International, Elizabeth Clement Associates, and Neue Gallery. Mind’s Eye art storage offers custom, comprehensive treatments. No rickety crates or half-baked security here! Vaults are humidity-controlled, specialized for individual works, transportation is taken very seriously with climate-controlled trucks and bonded drivers who are professionals. All trucking is tracked with GPS, too. Mind’s Eye art storage and exhibition display services are available for individual, custom quotes to suit the need of every museum, curator, and collector precisely. Go to the website for more details.

In regards to your comment on my blog, that is terrible. I know what you mean about the wages. I live in Dutchess County (Hudson Valley) and my hubby works in NYC. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t get nearly as much as he does now. I hope this economy gets better for all of us New Yorkers. Good luck!

I have a friends that does it and he flew over the house one night. I was inside with the door open and heard a whoosh that scared the living daylights out of me and ran out to look, and there they were!
