Several of you have expressed interest in my casual comment that we have a new kitten in the house. I’ve blogged about her on my other blog, here and here and here, if you want to learn all about her. But I thought I’d mention her here, too, since you may not be familiar with my other blogs.

Our new kitten is a half-Siamese female, 8 weeks old. We’ve named her Olivia, but call her Livvy. She is the sweetest little thing! I love her to bits.

Livvy and Daddy2

We’ve had her now for five days, and Livvy seems happy and comfortable in her new home. She was timid and a little sedentary the first day or two, but now she is comfortable enough to go galloping down the long hallways and to climb up the bookcase. and she just loves sittingon compuetra keyboradsas. Canyte yuooi tell;?

She also LOVES rhe heating pad. I use the pad for my leg and foot (my leg is often cold, due to nerve damage). It has become Livvy’s favorite spot.

Conked Out

She’s eating a great deal now. She was the runt of the litter and is still very skinny. But at the rate this critter eats, she’ll be filling out soon. She EATS! She eats anything, too, including bread, cooked carrots, and broccoli! (She doesn’t have worms). I think it’s because she’s growing so well.

I made a little video of her eating, her first day home. Already she is bigger then she appears in the video.

So we are loving our little baby.

  1. Only a true cat lover (me!) would take the time to watch a cute little kitty girl eat, and eat, and eat. She is precious, and I hope you update on her from time to time. :)

  2. She is just so adorable, and obviously already knows she’s well loved! :)

  3. Hi.
    I told you, she´s a little wild cat :)
She did clean all he plate! No need to do her dishes.
I keep saying: She´s sooo sweet.
    Cheers.

  4. Ah, that’s so cute how she is sleeping at your (hubby’s) neck. Pumuckl also loved to do this when he was still younger and could roll himself in the area between neck and shoulder ;-)

  5. O, she is cuuuute! I watched the video twice! :)

  6. Thanks so much for sharing, she’s precious! I grew up with a Siamese. Does she have that distinctive yowl, or is she too little yet? Ours used to raise me six feet straight up from bed … about 4 am, when he decided it was time for breakfast!

  7. I think little Livvy is so beautiful! And I heard her purring, too!
