You are so right! I almost didn’t do this one, because the choices were just overwhelming. But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it, really noticing the world around us, seeing on more than a superficial level.
All your shots are beautiful, but my favorite is the detail of the monastery. The cropping is perfect, and the painting is like something from an old illuminated manuscript. Nice!

So many choices! I know what you mean about having a tough time narrowing it down. You’ve done a great job of capturing beauty in these shots. My favorites are the bible, the frieze of the Russian Orthodox church and the church in Geneva. Such beautiful captures of beautiful objects.

I love the photo of the 1884 Bible best. it is so special. I can only imagine the lengths the keeper goes through to preserve such precious item!! the lake photos look so calm and clean!!
