The New York tourist industry has got their “I Love New York” summer promotional going again. It’s not too bad a deal– buy one night at a participating hotel/motel, get the third night free. As much as I love promotionals, I still scratch my head and wonder why New York State doesn’t just lower sales taxes, bed taxes, and all the other taxes that keep people away?
