1. I love Greek food, except lamb. Ick.
2. I went to acting school in Manhattan for a year. I still can’t believe that I left everything behind and lived in the biggest city in the world, all by myself, when I was 18 years old.
3. I have suffered through a tornado, a flood, and a house fire in my lifetime. Oh, and some mighty big thunderstorms. Oh, I have a funny story to tell about that. I was a kid (teen) living at home when this happened. One day, my little sister was pestering my stepdad to go to church with her. He did not want to go, and became very angry when she persisted. He stormed out of the house, yelling and cursing at God and saying he was mad at Him. As soon as my stepdad stepped outside, a whopper thunderbolt hit the ground nearby and crackled with a tremendous boom. My stepdad jumped about ten feet and high-tailed it back into the house. I don’t remember him ever cursing at God again (at least, not outside).
4. I am fascinated with Australian history and culture. I have no idea why. I just like it. I love the way they talk, both the accent and the words. Chook, woop woop, barbee, willy willy! LOL! Love it.
5. I’m more politically conservative than Ronald Reagan.
6. My favorite TV show as a kid was The Muppet Show.
7. I work for a blogging company that sometimes asks me to include odd or strange text links in a post, like mesothelioma. Sometimes I don’t know how to fit them in surreptitiously.

I liked learning new things about you! I have been through a hurricane before, but I think a fire sounds much scarier. Thanks for tagging me! I have actually done this meme a few times before, so I am not sure there are any more interesting things about me to write about! I’ll think on it though.

I love lamb…. alive, lol. The meat is YUKKY.
A hurricane is pretty scary. As for the house fire, I was not home at the time. But we arrived in time to see it in flames. It was a total loss. It was scary, because we could not locate my brother and the firemen didn’t know if he was in the house. We found out later he was with a friend.
