Strange Statues From Around the World

I found these amazing and funny statues while surfing the net. I don’t know who took them, and in most cases, where they came from. I was surprised at the staggering number of strange statutes in the world, everything from funky cat trees to Alice in Wonderland-type oddities. If you are the author of one of these here, let me know and I’ll gladly give credit where credit is due. These are the ones that struck my fancy.
This shark is in Oxford, UK. By photographer Stephanie Jenkins. There’s quite the story behind it.

This is in Los Angeles, California. Photographer unknown.

This from Nice, France. A real blockhead. Photographer unknown.

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Photographer Reinhard Hinz, from Slovakia. Source here.

See? lol. From Belgium, photographer unknown.

In Paris. Photographer unknown.

This is really neat, in Cadiz. The water feed pipes run up through the stream of flowing water.

Does it get this hot in Belgium? Photography by Alessandra and Emiliano.

This is from Melbourne, Australia. Photographer unknown, but photo source is here.

And here’s a really cute one. It’s not exactly a statue, but it is a well-known billboard that stands nearby, in Yorkville, NY. It’s the Holland Farms cows.

Welcome to New York Traveler.net. It was created for the purpose of telling the stories of our travels all over New York State.

I LOVE these. If we had something like those where I live I’d sit and gaze at it all day.
