Sweater Season! (at last)

We’ve been on a weather rollercoaster here in Upstate New York. A week ago, we had snow for several days. The past few days, we had temperatures in the 50s and 60s! And today it’s gloomy and rainy, with another cold front coming. We don’t let the temperature bounces fool us; we know winter is coming (probably coming early and will probably be very cold this year) and the wise are preparing. As for us, I’ve packed away all the kids’ shorts and t-shirts and have been going through the winter clothing. When the kids were little, it seemed they had tons of clothing– now that they are growing like weeds, I have a hard time keeping up with them! One of my sons grew 7 or 8 inches in a year (omg!) and one of my daughters who has been wearing my clothes, just grew out of them! Unbelievable. And now that they are older, they want nicer clothing.
So off we go to the clothing stores… Sears is having their annual Sears Veterans Day Sale
November 9th through the 11th. I remember going to this sale with my mom, when I was a kid! (Sweater fashions have greatly improved since the 70s, by the way). This lovely argyle sweater would look so perfect on my son; he has such beautiful blue eyes and this would be very nice. Sears has quality goods; that explains why they’ve been in business for over a 100 years. Their Veteran’s Day sale is one of the biggest and best– you can get 60% off all outerwear and sweaters for him and for her right now. If you’re needing new sweaters, or clothing, or anything (because Sears has it all), check them out for some excellent savings. The sale only runs November 9th through November 11th, so don’t miss it!
