Wow, I am impressed. Checking out the Sears weekly ad online, I see a beautiful 7-foot billiards pool table on sale. Guess how much this is? $500? Nope! $400? Nope! How about $279.99! That’s $120 off the regularly priced $399.99, and the lowest price of the season. That’s cheaper than a computer, folks! I have many great memories of playing pool with my brothers in our recreation room. (This was before the age of computers, too!).
This is a very classy and durable Fullerton pool table. It also has a Table Tennis top, so you can play two games off it. Wouldn’t this be a perfect family gift for the holidays? And better yet, this kind of gift lasts forever, in the great memories and precious moments your kids will have, playing with it.
The Sears weekly ad is one to keep your eye on. The deals are just phenomenal, and no beats Sears in quality, in my opinion. Not only have they been around for over a century, they sell and maintain the highest-quality goods (I only get Craftsman tools and Kenmore appliances).
Are you a photo enthusiast? Here’s a deal that will make you drool– a Canon Powershot A590 8.0-megapixel 4X optical zoom digital camera. It’s on sale right now at $149.99, before $20 instant savings. Sears is having a lot of great deals on a weekly basis. The deals mentioned here, as well as dozens of others, are good from 12/7/08 to 12/13/08. You can check out the weekly deals online at the Sears website.
Get Great Ticket Deals

Now that summer is officially over, sports has begun in super-high gear around here. School sports and especially professional sports seems to be Upstate New York’s favorite pastime. People are really passionate about their sports up here. I noticed that in my local newspaper, the sports section of the newspaper is now larger and fuller than the other two sections combined. Yikes!
So I have a sweet deal for you sports lovers: StubPass.com has loads and loads of tickets at great prices for all sports events. Right now NBA tickets are hot, especially the Boston Celtics tickets (who are expected to play a great season this year, according to my local radio sportscaster).
StubPass.com has more than basketball tickets, though. They have volleyball, skating, hockey, rugby, rodeo, and more! They also have tickets to my favorite sports event: gymnastics. Oh and guys, don’t worry– they have football, baseball, and racing tickets, too.
And not into sports? Try StubPass.com for concert tickets and theatre, opera, ballet, circus, Broadway, and Off-Broadway shows. They’ve even got a terrific section for tickets for religious events, like Joel Osteen services, Marvin Winan appearances, and the National Prayer Service conference.
Their website is searchable by city, by event, by topic, by venue, and more. I did notice that you can get great deals on the Lion King Off-Broadway and South Pacific playing at Lyceum Theatre right now.
StubPass.com can connect you with sports and other entertainments playing all around the world, so it’s not a site limited to football in the United States. This site offers a great variety of people, places, and events everywhere.
I recommend that you give StubPass.com a try if you are looking for some great deals on tickets– whether you’re into basketball, wrestling, ballet, or are looking for notices and tickets for prayer conventions and concerts.
