Wow, I am impressed. Checking out the Sears weekly ad online, I see a beautiful 7-foot billiards pool table on sale. Guess how much this is? $500? Nope! $400? Nope! How about $279.99! That’s $120 off the regularly priced $399.99, and the lowest price of the season. That’s cheaper than a computer, folks! I have many great memories of playing pool with my brothers in our recreation room. (This was before the age of computers, too!).

Now that summer is officially over, sports has begun in super-high gear around here. School sports and especially professional sports seems to be Upstate New York’s favorite pastime. People are really passionate about their sports up here. I noticed that in my local newspaper, the sports section of the newspaper is now larger and fuller than the other two sections combined. Yikes!
