Other Travel Blogs: TrafficJam Edition

I am a member of BlogRush, a social network of blogs. (See the widget in my sidebar, toward the bottom of the page). I like the widget. It is one of those networks that 1) has a good goal– to promote blogs because they are good blogs, and 2) to increase one’s traffic to one’s blog. I don’t see a lot of traffic here from the BlogRush widget, but I keep the widget because I think the guy who runs BlogRush is really trying hard to start a good thing. As a matter of fact, he’s just started up a new website along the same lines as BlogRush, but better– TrafficJam.com. I usually don’t promote social networks, but I really like this one, and I found a treasure trove of new travel blogs here. Check these out!
Why Must Visit Malaysia is a neat one. It’s not a flashy blog, with award-winning photos, but I got a real feel for the culture by reading it. I liked it! This post, 7 Cultural Mistakes You Need to Avoid was informational and entertaining. It was brief, too– easy, enjoyable reading. I liked the Finland Blog’s post on the Northern Lights. And satellite photos of the Megastructure in Pyongyang, Korea.
My own blog is supposed to be buried in TrafficJam’s listings, too. I didn’t go through all the travel blogs. I believe they are listed according to when they are updated. There are a lot of categories already– blogs on history, education, news and art, blogs by real estate agents, by lawyers, and teachers… there’s a lot!
I’m impressed with founder John Reese’s efforts. Keep it up, John! And here’s hoping my blogs get to the top!
