On Frozen Lake Oneida

I’ve always wanted to walk on top of Oneida Lake during the winter. As a kid, growing up by the lake, my parents forbid it. And I was a good girl, I never went on it.
But now that I am older, HA HA!
My daughter and I went out toward Syracuse a few weeks ago, and stopped to see the frozen lake. This was when temperatures were in the sub-zero range. The air was icy, and the sky a brilliant crispy blue. Snowmobilers had already ventured out onto the lake before us.
