Travel the World on a Cruise

I know a lot of people who have been on cruises. I haven’t (yet), but they look like so much fun! I have dreams of traveling the world someday, and I think a Royal Caribbean Cruise is the perfect way to do it. How about you, have you been on a cruise? I should take a poll and find out; my suspicion is that a lot of people have been on cruises. So that means I am missing out on something big. ![]()

My two choices would be hopping on board Alaska cruises, or enjoying one of those balmy Mediterranean cruises. I know I know, like two different worlds, right? Well, we’ve always wanted to see Alaska (and Iceland!). It’s 95 degrees here in New York right now, so thinking about Alaskan snow makes me feel better. And then, I am nuts about Greece. I’m definitely going there someday. I’d love to write a book about traveling the world on a cruise ship, like Mark Twain did in Innocents Abroad. It’s one of my favorite books on travel- hilarious!
I recommend that you check out Cruise Vacation Center if you are looking for good deals on cruises. I know that I will when the time comes for me to set sail. The business was founded by Roy and Kathy Witman in 1993. They are experienced cruise travelers– they actually started the business because they loved cruises so much and wanted to spread the word. I think it has worked, because over 250,000 people have sailed with them. The Cruise Vacation Center is fully accredited, licensed, bonded, and insured, and they are members of Cruise Line International Association and Vacation.com. I like their cruise articles on their website (Roy has a great one about fishing in Alaska). They have a toll-free number for more information and finding good deals on cruises: 800-803-7245. Plus, going on a cruise means you won’t have to pay those high gas prices for the car!
