Travel Blog Carnivals
I’m delving into the world of travel blog carnivals. I have had fun participating in carnivals (history, curiosities, cities, and homeschooling), but I have never done an actual travel carnival. That is strange, since I run two travel blogs! One of my favorite new travel blogs, Less Than a Shoestring (all about budget travel! my speciality!) has a regular travel carnival. Every Saturday, a continent is covered. I love this kind of carnival, since it generates interest in world travel (and budget world travel!) but it very organized. I’m doing a few posts for North America (obviously) March 8th. I’m excited! Check out the blog, it’s a great one.
Happy Hotelier, an old favorite of mine from The Netherlands, has been hosting regular travel carnivals for several weeks now. I’ve sat in the peanut gallery, watching everyone have the fun. I’ve finally decided to join the show, and hopefully I’ll be participating in a week or two (as soon as I have time to email my submission).
Carnivals are a great way to discover new blogs and enjoy the best of a blog’s content. Check them out for some terrific new posts!
