I discovered another Upstate blogger the other night, while browsing around. It’s Karen’s Blog. The blog has a few posts; I hope the blog develops, because it is off to a great start. I was floored with the photograph page. Check out these stunning photos! Folks, this is quintessential Upstate New York. Bee-YOO-tee-full!
In other travel blog news, this from the New York Times caught my eye: A Peek behind North Korea’s Iron Curtain. I’m wary of deals like these. I have to wonder what kind of “peek” a traveler is going to get. Price is $6K, too. Does this include the one bowl of vermin-laced rice, like the North Koreans get?
And Bill Geist has a little clip that travelers are not always getting satisfied with third-party agencies for their travel dollars. I think the best buy for travelers is to check out places and services themselves first, before trusting agencies to find the deals. You know, half the fun is getting there.
And finally, my friend at Happy Hotelier has his Travel Carnival Week 8 up. I’ve yet to submit an article, as I have a lot on my plate right now. But some of the articles are quite interesting.
I’ve delved into the Entrecard frenzy, and that’s why I have nothing more to offer in the travel blog department. I’d like to develop my placement in the Entrecard world, and that is taking a lot of time. It’s a terrific idea, but who has time to drop 300 days a day, every day? Not me! In case you’re wondering, here’s what my Entrecard looks like. Leave me a recommendation or make me a favorite, if you’d like.
