Why I Am Here

Well, here we are! I’m looking around the new house and wondering where to place the rugs and furniture!
The inspiration for doing is this due entirely to being “Googlewhacked.” I have a wonderful, established blog New York Traveler. For over a year, the Google Page Rank has been 4 on this blog. I recently began working for PayPerPost, and it has been a thrill to earn some money by writing– something I love to do.
Within a week, Google changed my Page Rank status, to a 2. A week later, it was a ZERO. This has been happening to hundreds of PayPerPost people. Many feel Google is sabatoging us on purpose, because PayPerPost is much more successful than Google’s AdSense. I have earned over $100 with PPP, yet only $1.20 for AdSense in three weeks time. It is obvious that Google would be jealous.
PPP advertisers rely on Page Rank in choosing blogs for advertising. Google’s Page Rank is supposed to be (at least, Google touts it as so) an objective survey of your blog’s value on the Internet. Instead, Google has made Page Rank a subjective opinion from whoever pulls the strings at Google, Inc. This is extremely threatening to us bloggers. So I am slowly moving away from Google and from its subsidiary, Blogger. I have enjoyed Blogger and have appreciated the service there. However, I just can’t support Google’s actions. I am being penalized with a ZERO even though my blog is very popular, and valuable, to boot.
This blog will develop over time. I have much to do, so I ask your patience and for your support. I have been very impressed with the quality of WordPress. The tech support is good, and the quality of the software itself is impressive. I think I will love WordPress!
If you would, please link to me. Let me know and I will gladly link to you. Retro links add value to blogs! Thanks for reading, and happy trails!
